Day 7: Big Red Camp to Devonport Downs. Woke earl

Day 7: Big Red Camp to Devonport Downs.
Woke early to the breathtaking Milky Way and to use the camp loos, which also took your breath away. ;)
Curried camel pie for smoko when we traveled back through Birdsville, quick shower in Betoota and onto the largest cattle station in Queensland. On the way there we think we found Bumf!ck, so we stopped for a beer and a quick game of desert golf.

Day 5: Birdsville to Big Red Camp. Our favourite

Day 5: Birdsville to Big Red Camp.
Our favourite day on the rally, saw the Carcory ruins, then got stuck into some proper tough driving. Soni guided Kenny through superbly.
After lunch we took turns tackling Big Red. Then sat on a sand dune with a wine and watched the sunset over the desert.

We crossed the finish line of Great Endeavour Rall

We crossed the finish line of Great Endeavour Rally n Charleville this afternoon.
It’s been a fantastic adventure and we’ve seen parts of Australia we never dreamed we’d visit.
More updates later - it’s time for a shower and a cold one!

It’s Line Fundraising Day! Today fundraising tallies will be used to decide positions on the start line.
If you’d told us last rally that we’d have raised $18,007 for Endeavour Foundation this year, I doubt we’d have believed you, but WE DID IT!
Thanks so much to everybody who bought a raffle ticket or swung a golf club.
Thanks to every business who generously sponsored our car or a golf hole.
We couldn’t have done it without you!
Kenny’s Angels are almost ready to roll, we just need to pack (and pray that COVID doesn’t rain on our start line!)
